The 8th grade Highland Lady Cougars fall 30-34 tonight against Palmyra in the championship game of thr Mark Twain J.H. basketball tournament. Highland finishes in 2nd place.
The Highland boy's A-team got the win tonight, 27-21, over Paris to claim 3rd place in the Mark Twain J.H. basketball tournament.
Just a reminder that tonight's Varsity Basketball games will tip off at 5:30pm. Varsity girls at 5:30pm followed by the Varsity boys. GO COUGARS!!!
Highland Girls Wrestling team made their first debut at the Hallsville Tournament today, placing 6th as a team. Calyn Mathes earned the first ever pin for Highland Girls Wrestling and placed 5th in her bracket. Raygan Mayes secured 4 pins in a large bracket to place 3rd! Promise Coulter placed 4th with 2 pins, Amanda Jane Morlang 5th with 1 pin, Alicia Eaton 5th with 1 pin. Claire Wiskirchen and Haleigh Reimers placed 3rd in their brackets and Olivia Clement 8th. It was a great day to be a Cougar!



The Highland J.H. boys A-team got the win tonight in the first round of the Mark Twain J.H. Basketball Tournament, 28-26 over Mark Twain. The Cougars will play again at 8:00 on Wednesday in the semi-final.

Tomorrow's JH girls games and JH boys games at Kirksville will start at 5pm. 7/8 Grade girls will be in the primary gym (this is where Kirksville plays their varsity games) and 7/8 Boys will be in the middle school gym. In both gyms the 7th grade or B team will play first followed by the 8th grade or "A" team game. GO COUGARS!!

This option is available for students who demonstrated success (completed & passed all coursework) during first semester while in Virtual or for students who were “in person” learning during first semester, but now wish to switch to virtual.
