The new schedule for the North Shelby Tournament is as follows:
6:00p.m. JV Boys vs. Scotland Co.
7:30p.m. JV Girls vs. Knox Co
Games will be played at North Shelby. Bus leaves at 4:15 from Highland!! GO Cougars!!
All games scheduled for today 1/24 at the Palmyra Tournament have been postponed until tomorrow 1/25. Highland girls play at 10 and Highland boys play at 1130 at Palmyra High School. The bus will leave at 830.

Highland schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday 1/24/20, due to the road conditions and continued snow. We had some hope to go tomorrow, but the roads have just gotten too bad. Have a good weekend and be safe!
Weather permitting the JV girls and boys will play tomorrow 1/24 at the North Shelby Tournament at 730 and 9pm at the SOUTH SHELBY GYM. Bus leaves at 530pm.
All games at the North Shelby Tournament have been cancelled for tonight 1/23. Yesterday’s originally scheduled games and today’s originally scheduled games will all be played tomorrow at split sights. More info will be provided as soon as I get it.
If the games scheduled for tonight 1/23 at the Palmyra Tournament are played then the Highland vs. Mark Twain boys game will be moved to a 7pm start and played in the Palmyra Middle School gym.
The Quiz Bowl match scheduled for today at South Shelby has been cancelled. Reschedule is pending.
Lewis County C-1 Schools will be closed again tomorrow, Thursday 1/23/20, due to snow and ice covered roads. The county did a nice job on the road to the elementary today, but the new snow has worsened all roads. Be safe!!
Highland schools will once again be closed tomorrow, Wednesday 1/22/20, due to continued icy road conditions on the gravel (including the road to the elementary school) and many side roads. There is also a threat of additional snow and sleet forecast for tomorrow starting at noon.
The ACT scheduled for Feb.8 at Highland has been closed due to low testing numbers. Students who registered to test need to check their emails to see where they have been reassigned to test on Feb. 8 and reprint their admissions ticket.
With the cancellation of school today, the PTO meeting has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, January 28th. We hope to plan for the upcoming Mother/Son event, so please mark your calendars...again. We hope to see you soon. Thank you, PTO.

Highland will be closed again tomorrow, Tuesday 2/21/20, due to continued icy road conditions on most of the secondary and gravel roads in the county.
Basketball games at the Palmyra and North Shelby tournaments are still on for tomorrow as the main roads are clear. **Basketball parents have been advised to keep their kids home if it is not safe to get them to school for the games!
Lewis County C-1 Schools will be closed Monday 1/20/20 due to continued icy road conditions and bitterly cold temperatures. There will be no school activities or practices either. Strategic Planning Committee meeting will be rescheduled also.
No elementary and jr. high quiz bowl tomorrow. It is rescheduled for next Saturday the 25th.

Today is the last day to register for Feb. 8 ACT. There is a late fee at this time. This is the last national test for Highland during the 2019-20 academic year. Register at www.act.org
