Special thanks to & appreciation for Highland’s dedicated bus drivers who haul our most precious cargo to and from school each day! Drivers attended training this morning to prepare for the new year. The district is still in desperate need of route, trip, and sub drivers!!
Super excited about the talented new teaching staff at Highland for the 2019-2020 School year! The new teachers spent the day learning many aspects about Highland during the New Teacher Orientation today!
There will be a Highland Jr. High softball parent meeting tonight, Wednesday, 8/14, at 7:00 PM, in the High School Commons.
We are excited to share that Highland Elementary received a $2,500 grant from America's Farmers Grow Communities! We are looking forward to expanding STEM opportunities for our students.

On August 20th there will be an Open House from
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Also during that time Freshman Orientation will be held at 4:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. Seventh Grade Orientation will be held at 6:00 p.m.
Finally, school begins on August 22nd.
Again, I am excited to see you all and begin this new school year at Highland High School.

Getting HES ready for Meet the Teacher Aug. 20th from 4-6 pm
First High School Cross Country Practice will be at 7am on Monday 8-12-18 at the HS. Jr. High can not start until 8-19-19. Remember: Current physicals need to be on file in order to begin practicing!

5:00 - 5:45p.m. - Varsity Softball Scrimmage on the softball field
5:45 - 6:30 - Booster Club Concession stand sign up and meal
6:30 - 7:00 - Parent Meetings (Football, Softball, Cross Country and Cheerleading)
7:00 - Introduction of Cross Country and Cheerleaders
7:15 - 8:00 - Football Scrimmage
All parents, family members and members of the community are encouraged to come out and get a pre-season look at all of the Highland Fall Athletic programs.
Concession stand will be provided by the Highland Booster Club.
