
Reminder that Highland HS Cross Country practices begin Monday (8/9) from 7am-8:30am (to beat the heat). JH practices begin Monday (8/16) from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Updated physicals should be provided to the HS office & 14 practices are required before the first competition.


The booster club will not be cleaning concession stands this evening, but they will be holding their monthly meeting at 5:30 PM in the HHS commons. All are welcome to attend.

The Highland Athletic Booster Club will be holding their first meeting of the 2021-22 school year on August 4 at 5:30pm at the football field. They will be discussing upcoming athletic events and coaches requests as well as cleaning the 2 concession stands to get ready for the fast approaching fall season. They could use all of the extra help they could get. Please plan to attend if possible.

Lewis Co. C-1 School District is in need of one full time bus driver as well as substitute bus drivers. Contact Transportation Director Ben Buening if interested at 573-209-3217.

Highland will start Junior High fall athletic activities on Monday August 16, 2021. Times are as follows:
JH Football 2pm - 5:30pm (this includes time for equipment check out)
JH Softball - 9am - 11am.
JH Cross Country - 3:30pm - 5:30pm
JH Cheerleading - 3:30pm - 4:30pm
All athletes must have a current physical and proof of insurance on file before being allowed to practice.
Also 14 practices are required prior to being allowed to participate in a contest.

Highland High School will start fall athletic activities on Monday August 9, 2021. Times for the various sports are as follows:

Reminder that Highland Jr. and Sr. High School will be observing dead week from 7/28 - 8/8/21. During this time no school facilities will be available for student use and no contact between students and coaches is allowed. These are MSHSAA requirements. On Thursday, July 22nd from 4pm- 7pm Highland High School Jr. and Snr. HIgh will have our counselors along with Mark Twain Behavioral Health available for students, parents, or staff that may need to gather and support each other and/or talk to counselors.
Everyone is welcome. The location will be at Highland Elementary School in the Gym due to summer maintenance at the Highschool.
With the loss of Joe Wallace, one of our students and classmates, services are available if needed for the school community.
