Congratulations to Sr. Kaycie Stahl (8th place V Girls) & AJ Caudill (9th place JH Girls) on their conference medals from the CCC Championship race! Nathan Caudill (16th) & Ethan Clow (20th) just narrowly missed receiving All-Conference medals, but represented Highland well!
A GIANT thank you to PTO for purchasing 50 copies of Akyrah Lewis's book, Communicating Through Art. Each 3rd-8th grade classroom teacher will receive a copy for classroom libraries. Remaining copies will be given to 3rd-8th grade students through a random drawing.

The Lady Cougars won as a team the inaugural Clarence Cannon Conference Girls Golf Tournament . Natalie Bowen and Rachel Bringer were 2nd-team All-Conference. Morgan Crist, Ali Reed, and Josie Murphy were all 1st-Team All-Conference. Morgan Crist won 1st place individual.
The 7th/8th grade JH boys basketball practice will start Thursday, October 5th at 6:30 am before school in the high school gym. All athletes must have current physicals on file to practice.

Highland wins the Schuyler County Varsity Tournament Championship with a 15-0 win over Monroe City. Keera Rothweiler stole two more bases today and broke the single season stolen base record, previously held by Mikayla Dreyer.

Highland Varsity Softball won earlier today, 10-0 vs Scotland Co., and then beat Canton in the semi-final, 9-5. Highland will play Monroe in the Tournament Championship. Emma Harshberger surpassed the single season hit record of 44 that was previously held by Becca Scott.
