Junior High students participated in their Second Semester Book Tasting. They were able to explore books written in verse, historical fiction, Holocaust (non-fiction), fantasy, dystopian, along with autobiographies and biographies.

Highland High School has police on the scene this morning due to a break in and burglary. School remains in session and there is no immediate threat or danger - just some destruction of property and theft. Investigation is ongoing.

On Friday February 21, the basketball schedule at Highland will be as follows: 5:00pm JV boys vs. Palmyra, approximately 6:30pm Varsity Girls vs. Palmyra. The Varsity Boys game vs. Palmyra will immediately follow the Varsity Girls Game. GO COUGARS!

Highland will be CLOSED and operating on an AMI Day tomorrow (Thursday 2/20/25) due to dangerously cold real and wind chill temperatures during morning bus times. Weather should warmup considerably during the afternoon on Thursday and school will be back in session on Friday!
