Book Blast Update!!!!! Thanks to everyone for participating and making this year's Book Blast a great success. Thanks to our donors' generosity, the school raised over $19,000 and gave the students of Highland Elementary 1,391 books. Books were distributed on Tuesday. Thank you to all of the donors, and we are looking forward to see what next year brings.

The Highland JR high track team competed at the South Shelby MS Open Meet on Tuesday. The boys placed 2nd and the girls placed 4th overall. Here are a few of our top places. All the athletes did a great job 🤎💛
The Highland softball team received a great introduction from Representative Greg Sharpe and a warm welcome from the Missouri House of Representatives today in Jefferson City. The team was presented with a Certificate of Recognition in honor of their 2024 State Championship.

Some Future Teachers of America members attended MU Teacher Career Exploration Day on the MU Campus. They attended break out sessions learning about teaching at all levels. I'm proud of these young people for keeping their options open and exploring the field of education.

Highland baseball will be conducting a parent meeting on Tuesday, March 18 at 5:30 PM in the high school Commons. Parents of all baseball players are encouraged to attend. Mrs. Johnston’s 1st grade class received their stuffies from Mrs. Murphy's Fashion and Interior Design class today. Every quarter a first grade class gets to work with this class to create magic. First grade loves seeing their art become something real. They were AMAZING!
