Highland Lady Cougar Softball will travel to Bethany on Saturday October 26 to face South Harrison in a State Quarterfinal matchup. First pitch will be at 1:00pm. Mrs. Jennings' Kindergarten Class participated in Fire Safety Day. We learned about fire equipment, firefighters, fire safety, and paramedics. Thank you to all who were there to teach us!

Congratulations to Highland junior, Abby Lay, for pitching the perfect game in yesterday's district championship win. Abby has 21 wins on the year, surpassing the previous record of 19 wins that was set by Jodie Schultz in 2006.
Congratulations to Highland sophomore, Keera Rothweiler, for breaking the Highland single season record for runs scored. Rothweiler has scored 51 runs this year, eclipsing the record of 46 that was set by her and her teammate Addy Abell last season.
