HES is proud to recognize Mrs. Billie Harshberger as our FEBRUARY teacher of the month. We are so thankful to have her as a part of our team. Thanks Mrs. Harshberger for GIVING YOUR BEST each day and helping make HES great!
FCCLA will be hosting a prom dress exchange at the high school on February 18. We will be collecting dress donations and consignments next week, February 10-14.
The Highland Athletic Booster meeting scheduled for this evening has been cancelled. The next meeting will be March 4th @ 6:00 PM. We are in need of parent support. Hope to see you there!
Highland Schools will be closed on Thursday February 6, 2020 due to road conditions. A phone call and text will go out to all parents at 6am & news media will be updated shortly as well. Have a good day and hope to see everyone on Friday!
The CCC band tour has been rescheduled for February 10. Stops this year are Clark Co., Highland, and Brookfield
All practices and other after school activities at Highland are cancelled this afternoon.
Highland Tournament games scheduled for tonight are cancelled. Reschedule will depend on the participating teams availability at this point in the season.
Students in Counseling are learning about disabilities and respecting all people, even those that may be different from them in some way.

Highland FBLA competed today in the District 3 Leadership Conference in Kirksville. Ten students qualified to compete at the state level in 14 different events.

Mrs. Jennings' Kinders learned hands on subtraction by playing "Playdough Smash". We smash balls of playdough as we "take away".

Third graders are building houses to withstand tornados and hurricanes. We are using all sorts of supplies to make the houses.
