There has been recent news reports of a TikTok challenge encouraging students to insert things into Chromebook ports to cause it to malfunction and possibly catch fire. This can be dangerous leading to possible electrocution, fire, and inhaling toxic smoke, not to mention damaging school property, which would not be covered by insurance on the devices. Here is a link to a recent news story: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/tiktok-prank-chromebook-challenge-rcna205784
