Highland JH Lady Cougars had a good day at the Centralia Tournament. They lost their first game to a solid Troy South Team 14-7. The girls came back to win their next game 20-0 vs Mexico Middle. They won their final game vs Hannibal MS claiming 5th Place in the tournament!

Food Science students have been learning about tallow and rendering it this week. They used a wet process and a dry process of rendering. They are still working to determine which is the best method.

Highland Cross Country Schedule Change for Palmyra on 9/13

Next week is Homecoming Week! Please see the attached Themed Dress Up days. HES students are encouraged to participate and dress-up throughout the week. On Friday, Highland Elementary students will travel to the High School (weather permitting), to participate in the Homecoming Pep Assembly. The Highland Cougar Football team will host the Palmyra Panthers on Friday night. #GoCougars!
