A great night to be a Cougar! The 2024 team was presented their state championship rings (courtesy of Highland Alum Greg Logsdon), and the Lady Cougars went on to sweep the Lady Cats (JV won 7-3 & Varsity won 13-3). Highland plays tomorrow night at North Shelby.

Reminder that JV Softball will play Bowling Green tonight at 5pm. Following the JV game a championship ring ceremony will take place for the 2024 state champion softball team. Varsity will then play Bowling Green immediately following the ceremony. GO COUGARS!!

Tuesday, 9/2, the Highland Lady Cougars will host Bowling Green at Highland. The JV will play at 5 pm and the varsity will play after. There will be a special ring ceremony for the 2024 state championship team between games around 6:15. Please come out and support the girls

Do you love football but can't always make it to the games? Good news! The Lewis County Scoop will be providing internet streamed audio broadcasts of varsity Highland Cougar Football this season. Highland Graduate, Remington Yates will be your host giving the play by play throughout this season. The broadcasts will begin around at 6:45p just prior to Cougar varsity football action. Be sure to join in and cheer on the Cougs!

Parents/Guardians of JUNIORS & SENIORS! The TRI-STATE MakerFest is on for this year! This is geared toward careers in manufacturing. This year’s event will feature guided tours of local manufacturing facilities as well as the opportunity to explore John Wood Community College’s Workforce Development Center. The event will be held on October 3rd from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. A bus will leave that morning at 8:30 AM and return shortly after 2 PM.
Permission slips will be outside Mrs. Adam's office and will need signed by a parent no later than Monday September 29th. A Google Form was also sent to each of the juniors and seniors via email!
