Tonight is Day 1 of the Highland Tournament with 4 games on the schedule beginning at 4:30pm. The Cougars play Kirksville at 6pm and the Lady Cougars play Palmyra at 7:30pm. The Highland Booster Club is in need of volunteers this week for the Highland Basketball Tournament. Specifically they need help tonight at 8pm, Wednesday from 4:30pm-9pm and Friday from 4:30-7pm. If volunteers cannot be found for these times, the concession stand will not be able to open. This will significantly impact the Booster Club's ability to provide extras for our sports teams. If you are available at any of these times, please consider volunteering!

Reminder: The final deadline to elect for the Virtual Option for 2nd semester ENDS IN 1 WEEK ON MONDAY 1/12/26. This option is available for students who have demonstrated success (completed & passed all coursework) during first semester while in Virtual or for students who were “in person” learning during first semester, but now wish to switch to virtual. In order to make this designation, Parents must complete the SURVEY (https://bit.ly/48emkhl Link to Survey) and submit a signed CONSENT FORM (https://bit.ly/3M14KWL Link to consent form) by Monday, January 12th, 2026. **Also remember: electing to be Virtual or In-Person is a semester long commitment. Please contact your attendance center/counselor if you have questions.

The Marching Highlanders are on our way home from our incredible Memphis trip! * We are bringing home 2nd Place in the Beale Street Battle of the Bands Competition!!! * We had an awesome but wet performance with #1 recording artist Matt Stell * A ton of great memories!!!
