If you checked the box, Accept Insurance, on the Chromebook Agreement form and have not paid for the insurance you have until the end of 1st Qtr. to pay in full. As stated on the agreement form if full payment is not received by Oct. 18th the insurance will be void and any repairs will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian. 1 - student $25, 2 - students $35, 3 students - $45 and 4 or more is a flat rate of $50. If you are unsure if you have made a payment or need to know the remaining balance, please contact your student’s school office. HES - 573-209-3586 and HHS - 573-209-3215.
JH Girls Basketball practice will start on 10/14/24. If your student has signed up on the sign-up sheet outside the gym but has not yet joined the REMIND group please do so ASAP the Class code is @692f4c. The practice schedule will be sent out next week on REMIND. GO COUGARS!!

Highland Lady Cougar Varsity golf captures their second consecutive CCC Conference Championship in just their second competitive season!!
Josie Murphy, Ava Hudson, and Savannah Bowen named 2nd Team All-Conference
Natalie Bowen and Morgan Crist named 1st Team All Conference.
Morgan Crist was overall winner with a score of 77.

Tuesday, 10/4, will be your final chance to catch the Highland JH Football Cougars as they play host to the Scotland County Tigers at 6:00. The Cougars will be entering the game with a (4-1) record and trying to end the season on a positive note. Come on out and fill the stands for the final JH football game of the season!!!!

The Highland XC Team brought home 5 medalists last Tuesday from Elsberry (Eva Logsdon, AJ Caudill, Connor Zulauf, Logan Frieden and Evan Frieden). Tyler Seals also set a new personal best with a 20:57. The team heads to Macon for the CCC meet today. Good Luck - Let's #GoCougars!

Jr. High softball falls short to Centralia landing 2nd place in the CCC tournament.
The JV football game scheduled for tomorrow Monday 10/7/24 at Mark Twain has been cancelled due to low player numbers.
Highland Varsity Softball won the Schuyler Co. Tournament yesterday, winning 15-0 vs Schuyler, 15-1 vs Monroe City, and 9-2 vs Brookfield. Haleigh Winter and Addy Abell each collected their 100th career hit in the championship game. Congrats ladies!
Miss. Eisenberg's kindergarten class had a blast on their field trip to Appleberry Orchards! All week they learned about pumpkins and their life cycles! Today, they learned all about the different types of pumpkins, got to feed and pet lots of animals in the barn, and played in their huge play area! 🍂🍁🎃
Mrs. Jennings' Kindergarten Class had a great time at the Appleberry Orchard Farms! We learned about pumpkins, fed the animals, and traveled on a wagon!
